Our Employees

Rob has been an employee at Phelps since 1994!!  He is one of our senior water treatment technicians and knows just about everything there is to know about water treatment.  He loves being on the road during the day with the change of scenary traveling from call to call and loves to meet new people.  Rob has 4 (really awesome) grown boys, 2 birds and a spoiled cockapoo named Lucy.  When Rob isn't working, he loves to fish and go to the ocean.

 Jerry started working here back in 1992 and has been a faithful employee since day 1!!! Jerry grew up in Texas and at 18, joined the army. Once out of the army is when he joined the Phelps family.   Jerry is the well field manager here and knows all that there is to know about wells. He loves being able to help customers with no water situations get their water back up and running.  He loves that Phelps is like a big family and the day to day interactions with the employees.  When Jerry is not at work, he loves to spend time with his daughter and grandaughter (who is the joy of his life).

Ray has been a water treatment technician at Phelps since 2008.  He loves finding solutions to customers water problems. Ray is married and has 2 step daughters who he spends most of his time with when he isn't working.  He also loves riding his motorcycle and fishing.

Colin has been an employee here at Phelps since 2012 after graduating from Virginia Tech.  Colin's favorite thing about working here are the co-workers and making customers happy.  Colin always has a smile on his face and is happy to do anything needed to get a job done.  Colin is trained in both the well and water treatment side of the business and wears many hats here at Phelps.  When Colin is not at work, he enjoys watching and playing sports with his son.

Steve started at Phelps in 2016.  He is one of our water treatment technicians and can sometimes be found doing work on the well side also.  His favorite part about working at Phelps is the independence he has here.  Steve has been married 18 years and has 2 kids.  When he isn't at work, you can find him at his local community church.

Tim has been one of our managers here at Phelps since 2021.  Tim is our "water treatment guru" and is involved in everything here at Phelps.  Tim helps out in the office and the warehouse but can also be found running sales calls and service calls as well as helping techs in the field.  Tim does it all!  When he's not at work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and sons.  He also enjoys traveling, especially to Thailand, where his wife's family resides.

Tristan started here at Phelps in 2023 and has been a great asset in the office.  He is one of our assistant managers here and wears many hats taking care of all of the businesses day to day needs.  Tristan loves the family feel here and that it feels like a family away from home.  He comes all the way from Texas where he was born and raised.  He moved here in 2023 with his girlfriend who goes to school at Johns Hopkins.  When Tristan is not at work, he enjoys playing the guitar and making music.

Kole joined the Phelps team in 2025 and has already made life easier for all of us.  Kole works in the office as well as the warehouse and loves being a part of the Phelps family. Kole was born and raised in Southern Maryland and just recently moved to Ellicott City with his wife and dog, Bear.  When not at work, Kole enjoys fishing and watching the O's.

Mason is a new addition to the Phelps family and is training hard with Jerry on the well side of the business.  He is a go-getter, always showing up early and ready to work with a smile on his face. Mason enjoys spending his free time with his friends and family.

Jaime joined the Phelps team in 2026 and was a very fast learner.  He was quick to learn and understand the water treatment side of the business and is already running service calls.  He brings his can-do attitude to work every day and is a huge help to the other technicians. In his free time, Jamie likes to hunt deer, elk, and rabbit.

Eric started working for Phelps in 2009 as a helper on the well crew, then became a water treatment technician.  He is now our salesman and general manager. He loves being on the road and meeting new people as well as keeping a very organized warehouse. Eric is married and has 3 sons. When Eric isn't at work, you can find him working out, running, volunteering at his church or relaxing, watching sports with his boys.

Kerry started at Phelps back in 2005.  She is the general manager here and helps to run the company in entirety. She loves having grown up with the employees here at Phelps and considers each of them to be family.  There is a never a dull moment when you work with people you love.  Kerry has been married since 2009 and has 2 sons that she homeschools from the office each day.  When Kerry is not at work, she is volunteering at her church, spending time with her family or working on her small farm.  Her boys have even started their own business and sell eggs and other homemade goods here at Phelps.

Robert (Bob) has been the President of Phelps since 1994.  He purchased Phelps from the Phelps family when it was an electric motor repair shop and parts storefront.  He turned it into the well and water treatment business that it is today. He loves being able to help customers in dire water situations.  Outside of work, Bob loves spending time with his kids and grandkids - he has 2 daughters, 1 son,  4 grandsons and a granddaughter.  He also loves being out on the boat, golfing and gardening.
