Our Employees

Al Jr started in water treatment back in 1987 and came to Phelps in 2000.  He is one of our senior water treatment technicians and knows just about everything there is to know about water treatment.  And what he doesn't know, he will find out!  He loves being treated like family here at Phelps and enjoys dealing with the customers each day.  When Al isn't doing water treatment, you can find him doing all kinds of projects on his home.

Rob has been an employee at Phelps for since 1994!!  He is one of our senior water treatment technicians and knows just about everything there is to know about water treatment.  He loves being on the road during the day with the change of scenary traveling from call to call and loves to meet new people.  Rob has 4 (really awesome) grown boys, 2 birds and a spoiled cockapoo named Lucy.  When Rob isn't working, he loves to fish and go to the ocean.

Jerry has been an employee at Phelps for the last 32 years!!!! Jerry grew up in Texas and at 18, joined the army. Once out of the army is when he joined the Phelps family.  Jerry started working here back in 1992 and has been a faithful employee since day 1.  Jerry is the well field manager here and knows all that there is to know about wells. He loves being able to help customers with no water situations get their water back up and running.  He loves that Phelps is like a big family and the day to day interactions with the employees.  When Jerry is not at work, he loves to spend time with his daughter and grandaughter (who is the joy of his life).

Mike has worked at Phelps since 2015, but has 25 combined years of experience in well drilling, water treatment, plumbing and well services.  Mike loves helping customers to fix and solve their water problems.  When he is not at work, he spends all of his time with his family. He also loves listening to music of every genre and decade.

Ray has been a water treatment technician at Phelps since 2008.  He loves finding solutions to customers water problems. Ray is married and has 2 step daughters who he spends most of his time with when he isn't working.  He also loves riding his motorcycle and fishing.

Colin has been an employee at Phelps for the last 12 years.  He started here right out of college in 2012 after graduating from Virginia Tech.  Colin's favorite thing about working here are the co-workers and making customers happy.  Colin always has a smile on his face and is happy to do anything needed to get a job done.  Colin is trained in both the well and water treatment side of the business and wears many hats here at Phelps.  When Colin is not at work, he enjoys watching and playing sports with his son.

Steve started at Phelps in 2016.  He is one of our water treatment technicians and can sometimes be found doing work on the well side also.  His favorite part about working at Phelps is the independence he has here.  Steve has been married 18 years and has 2 kids.  When he isn't at work, you can find him at his local community church where he is an Elder and Preacher.

Gabe started at Phelps in 2023 as a well helper.  He quickly learned the ins and outs of the well side of the business and now has also become an asset to the office staff when needed.  His favorite part of working at Phelps is his co-workers and the relationships he has made here.  Gabe's family is from El Salvador and he is bilingual.  This has been beneficial many times with some of our customers.  When Gabe is not at work, he enjoys gaming and working out.

Eric started working for Phelps in 2009 as a helper on the well crew, then became a water treatment technician.  He is now our salesman and general manager. He loves being on the road and meeting new people as well as keeping a very organized warehouse. Eric has 3 sons and a wife all here at Phelps with him each day.  When Eric isn't at work, you can find him volunteering at his church or relaxing, watching sports with his boys.

Kerry started at Phelps back in 2005, left for awhile and returned in 2011.  She is the general manager here and helps to run the company in entirety. She loves having grown up with the employees here at Phelps and considers each of them to be family.  There is a never a dull moment when you work with people you love.  Kerry has 3 boys and a husband who all are at Phelps with her each day.  She  homeschools 2 of the boys from work each day (so if you hear kids in the background on the phone, it's them).  When Kerry is not at work, she is volunteering at her church, spending time with her family or working on her small farm.  Her boys actually started their own egg  business and sell them here at Phelps.

Tim has been one of our assistant managers here at Phelps since 2021.  He helps to handle all of the day to day tasks in helping to run the business.  He enjoys helping the technicians in the field when they need a second set of hands and keeping the warehouse organized.  When he's not at work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and son.  He also enjoys traveling, especially to Thailand, where his wife's family resides.
